Overview: Noble Poker is a poker room based on the increasingly popular iPoker Network of card rooms, a network which plays host to the likes of Titan Poker, Fair Poker and CD Poker. Until the introduction of Titan in September 2005, Noble Poker was without a doubt the leader of the pack on the network, offering the biggest bonuses and boasting the highest profile of the group. Titan has shaken the tree a little, however, and Noble’s previously unassailable lead on the network has slimmed down a little. In light of this, Noble Poker has decided to ditch the “biggest bonus on the web” promo (which offered a 100% up to $700 match up but had severe play-through demands), and replace it with the new, and much easier to clear, 50% up to $250 bonus. The benefits to a player signing up here are twofold: there is of course the aforementioned easy-to-clear sign-up bonus (50% up to $250 plus a $1k depositors freeroll entry), and the software is neat, reliable and attractive. If you are not a fan of lumpen looking people sitting around a table, you may choose to implement the option provided to remove them. For the short-sighted, there is a ‘full screen’ mode; while the software also provides some well-designed stats options.
Features: As with all the iPoker rooms, Noble Poker’s game client features a full-screen option, in play tournament and ring-game stats, the ability to remove the avatars and to change the card-size/colour. Note-taking is also supported.
Freerolls: There are three daily Texas Hold ’em freerolls at Noble Poker, two with prize money of $100 (for 20 ‘Crowns’ – Noble’s poker points) and one $200 freeroll with an option to rebuy or add-on for $2. There are many other freerolls with play-requirements, and these must be the easiest play-requirements on the web. For example, there’s a $300 freeroll for players who have earned 500 ‘Crowns’ (poker points) at the Noble Poker tables (at tables with limits of $0.25 / $0.50 or more) and a $500 Omaha freeroll for players earning 300 ‘Crowns’ the previous week. Finish in the top three in any scheduled tourney, and you get a crack at a $1000 freeroll (again, a super incentive). There is also a weekly $2000 freeroll for players earning 2000 Points during the course of the week, and a daily $100 freeroll for players who signed up at Noble Poker during the past 90 days.
Bonus: Noble Poker offers a bonus of 50% up to $250. New players also qualify to play in the $1k weekly depositors freeroll, as well as a daily $100 freeroll for their first 90 days of membership.
Player Numbers and Growth: As previously mentioned, Noble Poker is part of the iPoker network and shares a growing pool of players with several other online poker rooms.
Regular Promotions: Noble Poker runs more or less the same promos as the other iPoker rooms, which mainly reward players for consecutive sit and go tournament wins. These include the $100,000 Fort Knox Jackpot – win six on the spin to scoop the prize.
Rewards: Noble Poker’s rewards scheme rewards players by increasing their VIP status in line with their level of play. As players play more, ‘Crowns’ are earned more quickly and therefore that reload bonus or sign-up bonus is cleared faster. In addition to earning Crowns at a quicker than usual rate, VIP players can qualify for freeroll tournaments with prize funds of $1k to $10k and various other promotions.
Bonus Play Through Requirements: The Noble Poker bonus clears at the rate of $10 for every 500 ‘Crowns’ earned by a player. Crowns are awarded at the rate of between 1 – 8 per raked hand and 20 points per $1 of tournament fees. Players should note here that both Titan Poker and CD Poker ask for 1000 poker points per $10; so although their bonuses are bigger than Noble’s, the latter is easier to clear.
The Rake: Industry standard 0 – 5% to a max $3 no flop no drop.
Deposit Options: NETeller, Instacash, Citadel, Ondemand, Moneybookers, Firepay, Ecocard, eWalletXpress, Central Coin, Epassporte, Instadebit, Usemybank, Credit Card, Visa Electron, Solo, Maestro/Switch, Click2pay, Bank Draft, Wire Transfer.
Customer Services: Noble Poker provides 24/7 live help via all avenues.
Conclusion: Noble Poker has some nice tourney promos, good ring game traffic, and their bonus, although not the same size as Titan Poker’s or CD Poker’s, is easier to clear. If this weren’t recommendation enough, Noble Poker operates on the excellent and ever-popular iPoker online poker network, utilising the reliable and user-friendly Playtech software. Highly recommended.
